Pros

- The company is very agile, growing internationally and expanding - As a result, I started in the business at a junior level and have managed to be promoted within a short space of time - I really enjoy learning, this role hasn't been restrictive as other companies I have worked for, instead I am able to learn lot's on the job. My manager has been really helpful in developing me personally. - The company is global, I've travelled to the companies Poland and US offices, as a result I have built new friendships

Cons

- Resourcing is a struggle, the company is bootstrapped, whilst this is honourable..it comes with challenges

Lack of Respect for People

Pros

My co-workers were more than amazing Leeds Trinity Office is convenient for the train

Cons

The staff churn is Seriously High. CEO loved recruitment so doesn't value keeping staff. No long term strategic business vision everything is based on the sales target. Targets are pie in the sky 2+2=6 and not based on facts. Miss sales targets & it's marketings fault. Hit sales target & its due to hard work by sales. History of products sold being 50% complete at best and at worst never built. Working long hours is seen as more valuable that working hard & smart, if you like to leave work on time you get labeled as a 'chair-spinner'. CEO doesn't trust you to get on with your job and is untrusting. You will be dragged into his office for up to 3 hours a day to talk AT you about anything and everything, which regularly includes inappropriate career advice. Everyone is made to feel they should be grateful for having a job. CEO doesn't respect individual roles (doesn't matter what you role is you should do anything assigned to you. CEO rarely delivers on promises. All departments except sales are seen as dispensable, Marketing, Support, Development etc. Budgets are mismanaged, everything needs to be signed off by the CEO, £5 for stamps = Dissaproved, £1,000 on something nobody needs = Approved.
