Pros
- Leadership is fantastic - honest, approachable, passionate, and actually listens
- Culture - being courteous is all but absent in the business world today but Weebly employees treat each other with respect and kindness!
- Trust - you are trusted but management and other employees to do what's best for the company
- Transparency - All aspects of the company's health, successes, failures, and anything else of note is openly and authentically shared
My position has been exactly as advertised, which is refreshing. I was told that I would be given the ability to create a vision for my team and execute on that vision, and that's exactly what I have gotten. So much so that it scares me at times how much autonomy my team and I have. My manager adapts to what I say I need and is happy to be more hands-on with projects or team members if it is necessary.
So many times companies sell candidates a bill of goods but the realities of the position fall short of that bill. Not the case at Weebly! My amazing recruiter was available at all hours, was honest with me about the role, comp, benefits, and the like. Not to mention he's incredibly energetic and so passionate about Weebly!
Cons
The insurance is good but it’s pretty expensive if you have a family.
The food is really good… too good. If you have a willpower problem like me, you can gain some weight.
There are some perk discrepancies between the offices but improvements are supposedly planned.
