Unethical to say the least

Pros

Pros: The benefits are decent—especially if you’re single or don’t have dependents. They look good on paper and are probably one of the more competitive aspects of working here. Free lunch and snacks are provided, which is a nice perk and, at times, feels less like a benefit and more like fuel to keep everyone going through the long days. The real highlight, though, is the people on the ground. Your peers are driven, resilient, and genuinely supportive—arguably the only reason the company is still functioning. It’s a team full of hungry individuals who work 12+ hour days, consistently overdeliver, and somehow manage to maintain a positive attitude despite everything else going on. If you take anything valuable away from this place, it’ll likely be the relationships and camaraderie with your coworkers.

Cons

If you’ve ever wondered what a “boys’ club” looks like in 2026, look no further. Leadership here operates on a fascinating combination of being completely out of touch and aggressively confident about it. The CEO seems blissfully unaware of what actually happens on the sales floor, while mid-level managers fill the gap by micromanaging, bullying, and making wildly inappropriate comments like it’s part of the job description. Strategy? That changes quarterly—sometimes feels like weekly—so don’t get too comfortable building relationships with your accounts. Book reshuffling is constant, which is great if you enjoy explaining to frustrated customers why they’ve been handed off (again). Nothing says “we value long-term partnerships” like organizational chaos. Let’s talk commission, aka the imaginary bonus structure. Even when you hit your number, getting paid is more of a philosophical concept than a guarantee. The new “discretionary” commission plan basically means leadership can decide—vibes permitting—whether or not you deserve to be paid for the revenue you already brought in. It’s less compensation, more roulette. For a company that calls itself tech, the operations are impressively prehistoric. Automation is apparently optional, so reps spend the majority of their time doing manual tasks that any modern system would handle instantly. Productivity tracking? A manually updated Google Sheet that’s somehow always wrong—so you’ll also spend hours fixing data about the work you already did. Efficient. Culture-wise, morale is nonexistent, customers are treated like inconveniences (even the ones spending millions), and favoritism is alive and thriving. If you’re close with leadership, you’re golden. If not, good luck. Overall, if you’re looking for instability, unclear pay, outdated systems, and a workplace culture stuck somewhere between frat house and corporate chaos—this might be the place for you.

Up in Smoke

Pros

* comp was good initially * benefits * peers

Cons

* ineffective management at every level of the org. Junior level managers in senior management positions pretending to be senior managers. * Disaster of a product team * No clear promotional pathway - role responsibilities change almost daily. No feedback on why a promotion whet to an under-qualified colleague. Very misogynistic, good-ol-boys club. * Compensation changes wildly - bonus' appear and disappear every half year. Yearly comp increases do not outpace inflation * nobody knows how to improve the app and it's in serious decay. processes to approve work break down daily. Customers are leaving in droves * work gets cancelled all the time, so much code lives in the trash * top-talent is abandoning ship, but its being replaced with contractors and AI

Be Careful

Pros

The only real positives were the caliber of my peers. My colleagues were highly intelligent, and while we were all overworked and under significant stress, there was at least a shared understanding of what everyone was going through, which created a sense of mutual support.

Cons

The company operated on a foundation of smoke and mirrors, where transparency was lacking and promises often went unfulfilled—most notably a bonus that was guaranteed but never actually paid out. The culture felt deeply problematic, with elements of misogyny and bullying that created a difficult and, at times, toxic work environment. Employees were expected to work long hours, with leadership frequently reaching out at all hours of the day and night, blurring any sense of work-life balance. On top of that, there were serious concerns around compensation, including being cheated out of earned commission, which further eroded trust and morale.
