Pros

For the right people, this is a solid place to work...but you better fit their mold! Company has a recipe to print money. Extremely financially stable and if you show up and do your job you can work their for life. Heavily conservative/religious culture (if you're into that.) They paid well, likely because they know you need to conform to their ways.

Cons

First off, they openly use the term "Weimer-ize" in reference to onboarding new employees or new branches across the country. It refers to getting them to fit into their mold/way of doing things. They offer Zero flexibility and are stuck in the 1960s with zero WFH flexibility. Employees work 8a-5p and must take a 1-hr lunch. All employees (Salary included) MUST punch in/out every day. If you need to miss ANY time you either need to make up the time onsite as they don't offer laptops to catchup on work at night, or use PTO time. If you want to be part of a conservative/religious environment this can be a great place for you! They did have one nice benefit...They were offering "early outs" every other Friday, allowing employees to leave at 3pm...but the family that owns them decided that was too much fun and cancelled it. Minimal room to advance as they have a family member in every C-suite position across the board. Germantown headquarters is entirely made up of white men/woman.

Pros

Weimer Bearing continues to experience growth and I love being a part of it! The family-feel culture makes it easy to go to work each day. If you are looking for a company that has honest and hard-working co-workers, look no further! Very generous to employees with alot of fun events through out the year.

Cons

None that I can think of.
