Pros
No company is perfect, I've had love/ hate moments here, however, I've had many more great days than bad. I have enjoyed the growth I've seen over my three years with WP, both with the company and my own development. The training programs they have implemented are strong and effective! This is rare to see in any field, and WP sets the bar high. The company is progressively moving towards being more appealing to today's workforce by offering flexible scheduling and work from home days despite being an office that is open to the public. There is always an emphasis on making practices more efficient. In as short as one year, there has been immeasurable growth in this area and tasks that used to be daunting have become more streamlined and less dreadful. Madeline, the Vice President, is consistently sending out surveys requesting our feedback on areas of opportunity, which is a testament to the level of care she and WP put into hearing our thoughts and moving the company forward. I began as a Leasing Consultant and have grown into the Property Manager roll. I enjoy the relationships I have with my Managers and Directors. They have always been available to me, and flexible when unforeseen events require unplanned time off. They are supportive of me on a personal and professional level, which is rare to find. In addition, commend our Directors for taking time to know Leasing Consultants and Maintenance Techs, though they do not have regular correspondence with them. Moreover, I have extreme admiration for the Co-Presidents, Allison and Ivan, who with all their employees and responsibilities, never fail to mention how impressed they were with the WOW Fridge I did 3 years ago when they see me at Fun Days.
Cons
Many of the cons I've had have all been turned around within the past 1-2 years as we continue to grow and learn what works best for our teams. I do wish there were more remote/ hybrid opportunities available within the company in the leasing management part of the company.
