      Pros

      Weinstein Properties is a great company that cares about its employees and its residents! I have worked for multiple property management companies and I have always felt most welcomed and at home with Weinstein. I started as a Leasing Consultant in 2016 and worked my way to Property Manager. Hard work pays off here!

      Nice company, very caring & strives to put residents first

      Weinstein has been a pleasure to work for thus far. The on the job training is top notch and this is coming from a person with zero leasing experience prior to working with the company. The company really values their residents and truly aims to please.

      Cons

      Cons- At the smaller communities, there is usually only one person working on weekends. For the amount of traffic that comes into the community on weekends, there definitely needs to be another part-time leasing consultant to help out. Another con would be the structure for issuing bonuses to the various properties. So many of our competitors offer higher bonuses and allow their employees to work partially off of commission. Adding these factors in, could decrease turn-over with the company. Another con would be the amount of vacation time given and the lack of increase until working for the company for 5 whole years. Starting employees off with 3 weeks of vacation time instead of two would be a huge plus. Hard working employees should be rewarded before they reach year 5 of employment.

Honest feedback from our employees is important and thanks for sharing your feelings about the weekend workload and incentives. Weekends can be busier days for leasing and if you feel that the amount of visitors is consistently high, please know that your property manager and regional director are always happy to talk about staffing levels and look at numbers across all properties to evaluate whether change is needed. You suggested that we look at our bonus and incentive structure and we’re actually doing that now! Although change won’t be made right this second, it will be coming.
