Terrible place to work if a minority, female, or both.
Pros
Good coworkers, so long as they are not in management. Can get good trial experience, if they don’t berate you every time you go to trial about every little mistake. Can be great for some male employees, but terrible place for women and minorities.
Cons
Good ole boys club. They decide who the like and make like a living hell for everyone else. Will talk out both sides of their mouths, so it is doffing to determine what is expected of you. Will only promote those that join the club and will pass over more deserving simply because they don’t like them. Tell you to always go to trial, then criticize you if you lose. Ridiculously high turn over. Terrible benefits. Expect you to work 80 hours and take care of yourself, but if you take care of yourself then you are criticized at your review for not working hard enough. Have no problem threatening their employees to keep them in line and make them fear speaking out against the working conditions. Extremely petty and will retaliate against those that leave.
