Many issues with company culture

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Large, stable company, generally friendly place to work

Cons

Far too few external hires, insular company culture, many underqualified individuals in senior-level roles due to long tenure, many scandals in recent years have taken a toll on employee morale and led to a culture of 'playing the victim,' bureaucratic structure of company stifles innovation, management slow to recognize/respond to information that contradicts current business strategies, current emphasis on efficiency improvements and cost cutting has drastically restricted opportunities for job promotion and eliminated nearly all employee job percs like optional training and team offsite meetings, compensation is below market

Pros

Flexibility with hours, that is literally it.

Cons

I feel the need to be completely honest here before another poor post grad kid with a masters in finance is sucked in to this place. It's a boring, data entry job. You are doing the same task over and over again, some are easier than others but overall you are doing the same one thing for 8 hours a day. Management is so beyond removed. You will have either a micromanaging fly for a manager or a completly checked out manager who knows how boring the work here is. There is no room for growth or skill development other than excel. You can do literally a whole day without seeing anyone in your team, division, or department. You are busy for 2 weeks then have absolutely, literally, nothing to do for another 2 weeks.
