      Pros

      Benefits, perks, competitive salary, room for growth and advancement... the list goes on. Wellstar is a phenomenal company to work for. If you're ambitious, a quick study, savvy and willing to go a little beyond what is expected of you, you'll do very well for yourself. I absolutely love it here!

      Cons

      There is a fee to join the gym at work. Being as though this is a healthcare organization, I would think they would encourage employees to exercise regularly... for free.

      Compensation, Leadership, Lack of opportunities for growth, No Work-Life Balance, Health benefits are horrible and cost a lot more money.

      Pros

      Co-workers make all the difference. Management follows the "rules" such as staff meetings, reviews, etc.

      Cons

      Don't expect HR or management to be of any value. During 6 and 12 month reviews you have the opportunity to discuss issues with manager. Most of the time, it does no good. Nothing changes, issues are not brought up again. If you bring the issues up again, it is as though nothing was said in the first place. I don't know how Wellstar makes the top 100 for great places to work. They must "know someone" who is in charge of the voting.
