Pros

I learned a lot of skills that helped me land my next job.

Cons

I worked for this company for three years. Within those three years, I saw a total of two employees of color come and go. When I left this company in 2021, 100% of their employees were white. I suspect this is still the case, although I cannot say with certainty. This fact should be an enormous red flag for job seekers. In addition to Wellworks not being a diverse workforce, they also severely lack inclusion and equity. There are zero DEI initiatives within the company. They refuse to speak out (internally or externally) on any racial issues for fear of being labeled “political.” For example, they refused to speak out about the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, even after employees requested they make a statement. Again, this should be considered a major red flag for job seekers. Unsurprisingly, this company is also not a safe space for LGBTQIA+ employees. A great example of their utter lack of respect for queer folk is how they handle Pride month. Only after receiving a complaint from a customer in 2020 about their lack of acknowledgment of the queer community, they decided to start implementing one “Pride” article per year, beginning June 2021, in their online blog. Two LGBTQIA+ employees, who have since left the company, wrote the Pride article for the blog. The following year for Pride month, instead of creating new content, Wellworks decided to take the article written by the former queer employees, change a few words and the title, and credit a new author. This is clear evidence of not only this company’s laziness but purposeful disrespect towards a marginalized community. If you are a person of color, an LGBTQIA+ person, or anyone who values diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, please do yourself a favor and skip this company in your job search. Most employees here quit after a year or two anyway because the management is messy, the culture is toxic, and the workload is unsustainable. You are not missing out on anything here but stress. Keep moving, and great luck in your search!

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on your experience at Wellworks For You. Wellworks For You practices an open-door policy which encourages all employees to speak up and be heard at any point during their tenure with the company. We are sorry to hear that you perceived Wellworks to be an unsafe place to work based on the company’s view point to stay neutral when it comes to political views and topics and not make public statements on our social media platforms. At Wellworks For You we always encourage our employees to bring their whole and true selves to work as well as allow them the freedom to have their own view points on such topics without feeling influenced by the company they work for. The company’s decision to not announce or speak of political views does not mean we are unsafe or not an inclusive environment for people of color and LGBTQIA+ employees. This decision, like many other companies, was made to create a company where our employees and our clients can feel comfortable working and doing business without politics, no matter what they believe. We are an equal opportunity employer, and have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination. Your statement that 100% of our employees are white is untrue. In fact, over the past 5+ years, as Wellworks For You has grown, our company representation reflects multiple team members of varying genders, ethnicities, generations, and sexual orientations. Making assumptions about someone’s ethnicity and racial identity based on the way they look is something we do not do or stand for at Wellworks For You. As we continue to evolve and grow, we continue to make great strides working together as a team to continue to grow our company. We take great pride in our respectful, supportive, and collaborative culture that has been created by the amazing team members of Wellworks For You. We do truly wish you the best in your future endeavors and thank your again for sharing your opinion.

Cons

extremely low pay technology continues to break burnout due to upper leadership piling work on you no incentive to want to work harder the commission incentive is a joke people are hired making way more than you in same role even though you have 3+ years experience at the company extremely limited opportunity for raise or promotion the policies change every month ill say it again.......no incentive to want to work more and take on more, they just pile it on and expect you to get it done

Pros

Team members are generally nice. Admin team is great. Client interactions can be rewarding.

Cons

Job description isn't comprehensive. Management may acknowledge your work, but it's always a pat on the back, not an increase in pay or a track to do so. Leadership doesn't give credit where credit is due.
