Pros

Good miles when my fleet manager is working. I think Werner is trying to improve, but for this driver, the process is too slow, and I will be moving on.

Cons

Lowest pay of all the large companies. As with many large companies, night and weekend dispatch don't have the resources available to keep drivers productive.

Pros

Home nightly barring rare events. Few problems resolving issues with home office (Safety, permits, etc) Consistent miles ~2500 a week

Cons

Loss of major holidays (Labor Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day) Low base pay and salary cap keeps people out of the division. Certain "incentives" are rigged in such a way as to not actually pay for performance. (Fuel Mileage Lottery, extra run bonus program) Seniority matters very little, due to high division turnover. Division requires HazMat endorsement, but offers no premium for hazmat loads.

they'll hire anybody. they'll put you in a nice hotel, everytime your truck breaks down..everytime

Cons

pay sucks, home time sucks, management doesn't care, you can't count on being home, even if you need to be. this company ONLY cares about their freight!! and don't get hurt on the job because they DON"T CARE!
