Company Physicians do not have same criteria

Easy to get hired Initial transportation to terminal paid Friendly at hiring terminals Assigned to trucks immediately receiving first dispatch quickly

Cons

2 different company physicians have 2 different physical criterias. Weekend dispatchers not fully trained in emergencies or breakdowns unrealistic timeline for seeking personal physician re-evaluations and tests Dispatchers do not care about work/home balances

they do nice things like bring in lunch and have casual days. Gym, store, great cafeteria. People are very nice.

Cons

Hard to get your foot in the door and then be promoted within.

They do what they say they'll do.

Pros

They communicated well what they wanted. They do what they say they'll do. They expect the same from the drivers. Never had a problem with getting paid. If you can read, write, work, show up, do your job, then the company will do it's job.

Cons

The only problem I had was with equipment breakdowns. I lost 14 days of driving in six months to breakdowns. That's two lost driving weeks out of 26. My fleet manager was supportive and did what he could to get me another truck, but by that time, I was ready to move on.
