Pros
Great work, the dedication to research is the gold standard. ESOP. Working with really good people in a non-competitive atmosphere. On site cafeteria and Gym. On site, well-staffed research library.
Cons
Inconsistent employee policies across the company, flexible hours and teleworking are not company standards. Weak management skills in the middle and upper tiers. No clear career paths for any employees unless you are being shown favoritism. Promotions are not opened to all to apply for, they rely on favoritism. No concrete measurement of employees work performance, annual reviews are done by perception. On the other end of that, no concrete method of salary raises or bonuses based on performance.
