      Western Metals Recycling is a great company that is dedicated to employee development, career growth and opportunities within its family of companies. I have had the privilege of working for Western Metals Recycling for over 5 years now and I have experienced such a positive and encouraging work environment. The benefits are great and the management team is supportive and extremely hard working, which in turn inspires employees to mirror their work ethic. Hard work and dedication are continuously recognized and rewarded.

      Pros

      In my previous employments, I was never genuinely excited to go to work, at WMR, I am excited to get to the office and start my day. My coworkers are very supportive and are always willing to help. I am constantly learning new things and no day looks the same.

      Cons

      There are no cons that I can think of, WMR is an amazing company to work for.

      -Lots of room to grow and move within the company. -Good pay. -Everyone works extremely hard and never asks you to work harder than them. -Good benefits

      Cons

      -Be expected to travel allot. -average with vacation days when starting.

      Thank you very much for your honest feedback. You are right in that as a culture we work together and don't expect one person to work harder than others. It is that team environment that makes us who we are. Thank you for your comments on travel and vacation time. There certainly are some roles where travel is expected and we try to be very up front with that in the recruitment process. We continue to look at our vacation structure and strengthen it where needed.
