Overall Good, Some Departments are Hit & Miss

Pros

The benefits are outstanding, including the retirement plan. There is a lot of emphasis on employee empowerment and the campus is a beautiful plan to come to every day.

Cons

There are lot of people that have held the same positions for 20+ years. In some cases, this has created a stagnant environment where change is next to impossible. Because of the autonomy given to many, some Departments are terrific while others are not.

Beautiful place to work at. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Declining work culture. Executive leadership lacks ability to maintain a culture of integrity and trust or the ability to model its stated values. Their values are words on a website, not in practice. President and Provost have no backbone and allow faculty throw tantrums to get their way.
