Free lunch, parking, decent wage they are afraid to fire people. if hired you can have a job for life.

Cons

no promotion unless you are related to senior / c-level management. there are a lot of secrets here so beware.

Pros

Good starting company. Pays you a subsidy for the fist two months. They have a pretty good training program. You actually get a list of clients to manage from the start. After 2 months there is a commission dump in.

Cons

Very poor local leadership, a lot of management turnover. Lack of leadership causes a lot of representative turnover as well. Too focused on the little things, like getting 16 appointments, making 50 dials everyday, spending a lot of time in training, especially when new. Being penalized for lapses on your individual account when you didn't write the business. Subsidy is too short. No vision of long term success with this company.

Good benefits, good support, opp. for advancement, great commission rates, good local management support, company is very solid, existing book of business, almost all expenses are covered compared to other companies, and pretty laid back environment

Cons

product alignment is completely out of wack. The compensation system basically punishes you for writing securities business. Products are not competetive in high end clients.
