Pros

Very stable company and cheap benefits. Many people have worked here since they graduated from high school, they are genuinely shocked when someone leaves. This is also one of their biggest problems.

Cons

Extremely outdated technology, fortunately for a lot of employees they have not updated systems in 20 years. If they did, management would see that many positions are not needed. Be prepared to feel like you never left high school-this is the mind set of most long term employees since they have never worked anywhere else. There is a “us versus them” mindset between the old school workers and new employees. Employees get away with bullying and intimidating others. Promotions are given based on long you have been at the company regardless of education or experience. Basically if you didn’t do the job at W&S, it doesn’t count. Managers will also prevent you from leaving their department if it does not benefit them. Leaving the company feels like you are taking a deep breath after many years of suffocating micromanagement and petty attitudes. W&S does a great job of defeating you until you believe there is nothing better out there. There definitely is!!

Pros

Good pay with reasonable expectations of associates. The company has good 401k plans and has a deep passion for bettering the Cincinnati area.

Cons

The company operates on outdated morals that limit its ability to progress and retain qualified candidates. I have witnessed multiple good associates let go for improper training or flexibility to find the correct job fit within the company.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Stable company. Free lunch (even though it is not very good quality food at all). No micromanaging in IT (although I heard that's not the case for other departments).

Cons

This place feels like you're working in a retirement home in 1950. Extremely conservative with a white male catering mentality. Not diverse, no room for self expression or individualism. Dull, boring, depressing building (playing elevator music!!!) in serious need of many updates. Entire company is slow and stuck in the past, especially the technology. Expectation is to work 50 hours per week. No work/life balance. No option to work remotely. Barely any standup desks. Gym is not even open during lunch time. Free food is not that good of quality (surprise)! Little to no investment in employee appreciation activities or events. Will NEVER be able to keep young employees around if changes are not made very soon. CEO has no problem pushing his extreme conservative political views in inappropriate settings. If you're under 40 you will definitely hate it here I guarantee it.
