Only positive from the experience was that they paid you to attend a meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio! Period!!!

Cons

Nagged about sales constantly! They constantly complained about not working hard enough, even if you sold 20 policies per day!!!!!

Pros

There are good benefits such as free lunch daily at the cafeteria, subsidized parking at the home office and pension plan. A lot of people work there for their entire careers.

Cons

Business dress is required every day of the year except one day where you are allowed Business Casual dress. No one below Senior Management is empowered to make decisions. Departments and business units are very segregated and there is very little collaboration. Senior management does not develop managers or staff so higher level positions are usually filled from outside. All work must be done in the office. Occasional working from home requires using a vacation day.

Free breakfast and free lunch! Discounted parking or payment towards a bus pass. Employee Fitness center with pool. Escalators between floors.

Cons

Never go to HR for any reason! Even if you are having a problem with a co-worker or your manager, keep it to yourself. The manager rules, so never make eye contact and always be submissive.
