Cons

I began my career at this company with excitement, dedication, and passion. It was a place I once held close to my heart. The opportunities to learn and explore different technologies were vast, and the early years were defined by camaraderie, exposure, and mentorship. However, under the current leadership, what was once a promising launchpad quickly descended into a nightmarish environment. Let me be clear: this workplace is no longer the beacon of opportunity it may have once been. Today, leadership is defined by exploitation, favoritism, and cruelty. Working late nights and weekends became an unspoken expectation, not an exception. Attempting to leave on time was met with scrutiny. Do you want time with your family or a weekend with yourself? Prepare to be guilt-tripped or overlooked for advancement. Burnout was normalized, and rest was vilified. Raises were a cruel joke. The people at the top rewarded themselves while the rest of us were told there wasn’t enough in the budget. Some received a paltry 1% increase, and management dared to present it as a generous gift. Promotions and meaningful raises weren’t based on merit or performance but on whether you were part of the inner circle. Opportunities flowed freely if you were a personal friend or had the right look. The executive team is a story in itself. The CEO created a culture of fear, humiliation, and dehumanization. Publicly insulting staff, calling them stupid or useless in front of their peers, was a regular spectacle. A plaque on his desk reads "unFwithable" – a grotesque symbol of the delusional power he believes he wields. This environment of verbal abuse set the tone for a culture steeped in toxicity, where everyone was expected to stay silent and submissive. The rot didn’t stop there. Time off for baby bonding or any form of family care was treated as a betrayal of the company. I witnessed managers being discouraged from taking paternity leave, shamed for prioritizing their families, and pressured into choosing the company over their children. Perhaps the most insidious part of it all is the way visa sponsorships were handled. Anyone on an H1B1 visa, good luck. Leadership dangled these sponsorships like bait, coercing endless hours of unpaid labor under the guise of a future promise. I saw colleagues work 16-hour shifts, get called at 3 a.m., and never once complain—because speaking up meant losing the one thing they desperately needed. These sponsorships were rarely honored. Instead, they were handed to new hires who fit a preferred profile, often those who shared a racial or cultural background with the VPs. It was a disgusting abuse of power and a manipulation of vulnerability. If you're considering working here, I would like you to reconsider. This company will drain you of your energy, your time, and your humanity. When you're too burnt out to continue, they'll toss you aside and replace you without a second thought. I walked away from this place like one wakes from a bad fever dream—exhausted, disillusioned, and finally free.
