      Good Company struggling through a tough time.

      Pros

      Pay, Holidays, Vacation, Flexible around some family needs, 401k, Health Insurance.

      Cons

      Higher management plays musical chairs at times, doesn't do a good job of recognizing work done by hourly and salary employees outside of home office.

      Pros

      Stable, competitive salary and benefits. Can make a good living without ever really trying hard.

      Cons

      Currently only one division is keep company with cash. Very concerned company will hold on to wood products division until every last tree is mortgaged and all other divisions sold off. Not sure management team has the skills to order a combination pizza much less run a company in a recession.

      Fair place to work, but Union is something else

      Pros

      Good salary and benefits but the union is terrible.

      Cons

      Union threatened to term employment, but after trying to join, got nowhere until I was back at school.
