Pros

Innovative company with interesting products.

Cons

Unless you’re really desperate, I wouldn’t recommend working here. I can’t speak to the manufacturing side, but if you’re thinking about joining the software team, I’d suggest staying away. Favoritism is a big issue, and it starts to wear on you after a while. Turnover is extremely high, which shows a lot about the culture.

Pros

On paper, Whisker sounds great. They are taking on hard problems and advocating to improve pet health. - fun team building events - nice coworkers - will support learning new skills related to work - if you can "play the game" there is room to grow

Cons

In practice, Whisker missed the mark. The culture they share during the interview process doesn't match what happens behind the scenes. There is definitely favoritism and a bait and switch on remote versus in-person work. More middle managers are added instead of hiring people to actually do the work. - inconsistent communication between product and engineers - unrealistic deadlines that end up mostly ignored anyway - pet health features take a back seat - budget distributed unequally across organizations
