CX Culture Leaves Much to be Desired

Pros

Would say remote work, but they’re taking that away slowly. Good benefits.

Cons

The management culture is toxic, allowing favoritism and emotional decision-making to dictate important outcomes, often at the expense of team morale and productivity. Managers regularly manipulate situations to serve their interests, creating an environment where employees feel undervalued and overworked. There's little regard for mental health; requests for support are often ignored, leading to burnout and high turnover. Pay discrepancies are alarming, with significant differences between employees in similar roles, leaving many feeling demoralized. The lack of transparency and fairness is also frustrating. This company needs a serious overhaul in leadership and culture to create a healthier workplace.

Pros

Break times Able to wear casual clothing Able to listen to music

Cons

Lots of micromanaging from Management and Department leads (facilitators). Lack of consistency between what’s acceptable and what’s not. 1 break room and all departments take their break at the same so there’s not enough room for everyone. Not able to talk with the people around you “takes away from production” Leads make a point to come up and comment to u on 1 mistake you make out of the 300 parts you’ve assembled. If your not a male your not liked by the facilitators They don’t drug test so majority of people are high

Pros

- The line-level people in engineering are reasonable and pleasant to work with - Leaders are at least polite while telling you to do the impossible - Decent benefits - Interesting products

Cons

- Completely unrealistic timelines. Hope you like working nights and weekends. - Fortune 500 bureaucracy with startup-level chaos - Leadership out of touch with ground reality and refuses to listen - Leadership is quick to judge and fires without hesitation - Leadership expects you to be 5x as productive using LLMs - Favoritism
