Pros

Consistent paycheck, good overtime pay, some random opportunities for trial work, but only if you're lucky. Opportunities to explore corporate law if that's what you're into, but almost guaranteed to be boring.

Cons

Lawyers were awful to work with, management was even worse. Communication with supervisors was petty and irritating. The billable hour set-up led to a terrible dynamic with supervisors and attorneys.

Pros

Not many pros aside from the free snacks.

Cons

If you are any type of business services, run from W&C. They treat their assistants lower than dirt and half of the attorneys don't even speak to you (because God forbid they speak to an assistant). The hierarchy is absolutely ridiculous, especially since the supposed "team leads" who are supposed to be your go to, do absolutely nothing for you. The place is full of managers and higher ups that do not belong in those positions. They promote a sense of career growth, but when you would like to grow within the company, you get shot down. People earn promotions based off of who they know, not because they are qualified for the position. Different rules apply to different people.
