Toxic management. A few managers are ok, but the majority have a god complex. Manager 1 yells at manager 2 who yells at his employee. That's how it works and rolls down hill. Another con is that 70% of the company isn't even 25 years old. The business model at Williams is to hire college kids for cheap and then when they quit 5 years later then they get replaced by another new college grad. I think there may even be age discrimination happening as I have heard stories and seen things that lead to that conclusion. If you are over 30 years old, then I would not come work for Williams. Another thing is that there is no remote work and the company doesnt even give people laptops. The employees have old school desktop computers so you need to physically sit at your desk to do ANYTHING. That lack of laptops leads people to come to work on weekends just to work on things like spreadsheets. Another con is they religiously watch your badge use. If you take 2 hours to go to the dentist then they reduce your pay that week by 2 hours. It starts to add up to real money. I literally have not seen a company cut someone's pay for 2 hours to go to a dentist appointment and then come back when the appointment is over. So no one ever actually makes their "salary" because of all this hours stuff.
