Corporate has unrealistic expectations. No longer a pleasant environment or a pleasant company to work for.

In my 20+ year career I’ve never worked for a more toxic environment. Mean Girls run this company. NO ONE EVER SMILES...even Laura and Janet walk around looking pissed off at the world; and with their salaries they should at least put on their best fake smile. The culture at WSI is one of snobbery, cliques and back-stabbing. It’s like your worse experience in high school x 100! Management DOES NOT value their associates. Gone are the days where Howard’s Rules meant something and People really did come First. The only people who come first are, shareholders, EVPs and those accepted into the “clique”. They manipulate finances and squeeze the infrastructure of the organization in order to beat the street. Totally shady practices. The only thing this company has going for it is West Elm. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SELF-WORTH.
