      Wings removed local jobs as tellers at their branches in favor of impersonal ATM machines that customers can't stand.

      Pros

      Used to be a forward thinking credit union but that was chucked out the window when they removed local tellers from their branches.

      Cons

      Cut labor, remove local jobs, lose customers. It's a no brainer. Cutting their labor costs was seen as an advantage vs human contact and actual customer service.

      Pros

      The people you work with are great. Most people have strong worth ethic and feel a loyalty to their coworkers which is most of the reason why they don't leave. Current employees that have been there're for four years or more are in the next tier of vacation so may not want to leave the company due to seniority.

      Cons

      Wings prides themselves on running "lean" with staff which has always been borderline intolerable. Within the past year and the last three years or so for certain departments it's been unbearable. Employees have developed health issues, have lost much time with their families etc. Wings keeps pushing and pushing and has not done anything to alleviate pressure and harmful stress for their employees who feel disposable at this point because of senior managements lack of concern and attention to their complaints. Employees are doing the jobs of four people, Wings has mentioned of times where they have viewed other institutions of their size to see how they are run and have staff of quadruple ours and do half of our production.

      Pros

      My coworkers are helpful and great to be around. The focus is really on the members experience and doing what is best for them

      Cons

      We are short staffed and there seems to be no end in site. They are also constantly rolling out systems that are not ready for market and it's never a smooth process making it difficult to do your job. They also seem to be doing a lot of hiring from outside
