Pros

This could be a great firm if the owner would stand by what she says. You offer bonuses, back it up. You “gift” two work from home days, then don’t take it away a few months later.

Cons

Owner is only about her 5 star reviews. She used to give bonuses, but now gets mad, sends out mass emails with constant threats about taking everyone’s money. Gifted everyone with 2 work from home days and has now rescinded them. She has also taken all attorney bonuses until she gets more 5 star reviews from clients. This law firm has changed to being run like a corporation.

Pros

Competitive pay and bonuses. Monthly luncheons for staff. There are a lot of really smart, kind people throughout the company.

Cons

Every company is going to have a few downsides but unfortunately Witherite seems to have more than most. The CEO tends to micromanage and can have an explosive temper. Upper Management always seems extremely stressed out and worried about when it’ll be their turn to be yelled at. It was really disappointing to see good leaders get burnt out simply because one person cannot speak to others with basic respect. Benefits are neutral- 10 days PTO after 3 months. However, the healthcare plan is generous.
