Pros

Covered parking, free parking and that’s it

Cons

The people that work here are trashy, ghetto and rude. Lots of gossip and drama. They have no training organization or structure. They fire and hire employees like nothing. There employee retention rate is so horrible they don’t allow employees to be eligible for insurance until 60 days after they start. And 401k benefits don’t kick in after 1 year. Most of the people that work here are unhappy and hate their jobs. This is a big micromanagement company if you like someone breathing down your neck all day don’t work here

Are the benefits really worth the stress?

Pros

Great benefits from day 1. You do not have to wait 90 days to get paid holidays which is awesome. They cover a huge chunk of medical.

Cons

Toxic team mates. Leadership does follow their own rules they enforce on others. Poor leadership.

Pros

ATL staff feels like a family everyone in Atlanta really cares about each other. The firm procedures and hierarchy are very organized, because everyone has a role. As long as everyone on the team is doing their job it is a well oiled machine. (One star for each pro)

Cons

The problem is Dallas, although they have other locations now, all the decision making managers are in Dallas and ALL decisions have to come from Dallas. This firm does not care how law is practiced in Georgia and insists on imposing Texas guidelines and quotas that are unattainable based on civil procedure in Ga (yes there is an individual quota requirement). The managers are located in Dallas and micromanage you about meal breaks, reasons for needing PTO, being less than 15 minutes late, and chronic medical conditions. The managers default to be accusatory. They openly favor certain employees, and have been known to have personal relationships and talk badly about other subordinates to their favorites. They regularly hire people under the guise that they will receive work from home (wfh) days only to hit them with “it’s up to the discretion of your manager” who will not let you wfh in the end. There is no set trainer for new hires in Atl office and when you try to ask your manager in Dallas questions they will guess an answer. The owning attorney regularly demeans, dismisses, and berates the other attorneys about settlement numbers which can spill over to attacking staff as well.
