Pros

Dedicated people doing excellent work. High standards and well-respected in the field. Up-to-date information. A good jump-start into medical publishing.

Cons

Long hours. Multiple office locations. High level decisions don't necessarily consider mid-level recommendations. Inequitable salaries. High turnover at lower level.

Pros

Reasonable benefit package. Stable company with reasonable job security.

Cons

Compensation is low and non-competitive. Way below market rate. No significant improvement after speaking with my manager. No promotion what-so-ever for 8 years.
