      starbucks, garage, newish building, flexible work scedule

      Cons

      Management has lost control here or probably they never had it. No one has the overall big picture in mind – everyone only cares about themselves and operates in there best interests. Businesses all operating in silos. Any effort into streamline or improvements gets met with a whiny "that effects my business so i dont want to change and crying to managment not to make any changes." Alot of apathy or no spine for management to step up and for the overall benefit of company. Not sure why but they love outsourcing everything. Any IT issue gets routed overseas and you never get help. So useless and frustrating. I waited 3 weeks just to get network drive access, ridculous. Seemingly keep hiring new executives, VPs when they already have some in places makes no sense at all. THere are multplie of everything: websites, procedures, policys, everything (UK version, US version, business specific version, ALCS, Kenny, Mustang???) No standards in place.

      Nothing from what I can tell.

      Cons

      If you want a place that has poor communication, favoritism, and lackluster management.. by all means come here. You’re forced to work outside of your own department and position, obligated to deal with a catty environment that thrives on verbal harassment and gossip. Everyone worries about the low company morale, and yet nothing is done to combat the biggest issues going on. Go somewhere else that will be a lot more professional, unless you like this sort of circus.

      Diverse projects, good reputation, poor investment into staff

      Pros

      Diverse and exciting/challenging projects, cohesive and competent staff, carries a great reputation with potential and repeat clients.

      Cons

      Little to no investment in their employees. No room for growth or upward mobility. Habitually low ball staring salaries and make progressing in salary almost impossible and when challenged as to why it gets blamed on corporate processes. Made to felt bad if you take the initiative to open dialogue regarding earning/getting a raise. Accepting another position elsewhere was the only action that resulted in being offered additional compensation.
