Thanks for taking the time out of your day to leave us some feedback. We are glad to hear you feel the flexibility, pay and benefits are great but based on your overall rating it appears we are missing the mark and you feel there is no path of advancement. I would encourage you to reach out to your HRBP (Kayla) and your manager to further discuss your career path. Thank you!

Pros

The only thing that Woolpert had going for them was their freedom to work policy.

Cons

Ever since COVID, Woolpert is in a state of trying to find their true identity through trial and error. They had a series of reorganizations but the results were still the same. They also bought other firms every other month, but we did not know how they would function or contribute to our workflow, so it was just confusing as to why the acquisitions instead of hiring externally/promoting internally.

We appreciate you taking the time to drop us a note but are sorry to hear you felt we missed the mark in communication. Historically 2-3 firms join Woolpert per year; our acquisitions add staff who build onto and supplement internal career development to achieve our vision to be a premier global AEG Company. We definitely value the voice of our employees and are always looking for ways to improve. We conduct global surveys twice a year; our latest one just concluded where we had nearly 90% participation! Thanks again for leaving us feedback and we wish you the best!

Pros

Remote/Hybrid Options Unlimited PTO and had no problems getting approved Good Work Life balance 1 week separate sick pay Salary is above average for this sector

Cons

401k match is 50% match at 7% which is below average There is a bonus but it's small and implemented through goals which is arbitrary & would differ from person to person Woolpert is fairly new to Texas (or it seems like it) so a lot of processes still need to be put in place for young engineers to thrive People Managers are scarcley invloved and are mainly 'work winners'

We appreciate you leaving your feedback and are happy to hear you enjoy your job, the environment and benefits! We recently expanded our training offerings for engineers and younger professionals with Project Fundamentals training. Additionally, our School of PE program helps EITs prepare for licensure and includes access to high-quality prep resources and dedicated study time. We are also working to strengthen mentorship and hands-on support from management, as we recognize that is an area of opportunity. Thank you for your feedback as it helps us continue to grow and improve!
