Pros

I joined WorkNest in June 2022 as a Programme Support Officer, with little prior project experience but a strong set of transferable skills. Thanks to my patient and supportive manager and team, I quickly gained confidence and was trusted to manage key project tasks, lead initiatives, and take leadership on internal platforms. WorkNest provided exceptional support, including funding for professional development courses like the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ), which was invaluable for my growth. The company places a strong emphasis on recognising employee contributions, even hosting yearly awards to celebrate achievements. Being awarded the Silver Award in 2024 for my leadership on an internal project was an incredibly proud and memorable moment in my career. It gave me a huge confidence boost and made me feel truly valued. In October 2024, I successfully secured a new role as Recruitment and People Coordinator after interviewing for the position. The ability to explore new opportunities demonstrates WorkNest’s commitment to supporting employee aspirations. The leadership team and my colleagues are approachable, supportive, and invested in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. WorkNest goes above and beyond to create a culture where employees thrive, offering initiatives like company awards, mentorship sessions, professional development, and team-building activities. These efforts reflect how deeply the company cares about its people, ensuring everyone feels appreciated, empowered, and motivated to contribute their best. I also want to mention that WorkNest provided incredible support during a particularly challenging time in my personal life. The care and empathy shown to me were beyond anything I could have expected, and I truly couldn’t have asked for better support. Knowing that the company genuinely cared about my wellbeing shows just how much they value their employees as individuals and human beings.

Cons

Juggling multiple projects and tasks can sometimes be demanding, but clear communication and the excellent support systems ensure that challenges are always manageable.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review. We’re delighted to hear about your journey since joining WorkNest and how you’ve been able to grow in confidence, take on new responsibilities, and successfully progress into a different role. Supporting colleagues to develop, explore new opportunities, and build fulfilling careers is something we place real importance on, so it’s particularly rewarding to read your experience. It’s also great to hear that the support for professional development, including funding and encouragement to gain qualifications such as the APM PFQ, has contributed positively to your growth. We’re equally pleased that recognition initiatives like our annual awards have made a meaningful impact and helped you feel valued for your contributions. We were especially moved to read your comments about the support you received during a difficult personal time. Ensuring colleagues feel genuinely cared for and supported as individuals is central to our culture, and we’re glad this came through in your experience. Thank you as well for your balanced reflection on workload. We recognise that project-based environments can sometimes be demanding, and we’re pleased that clear communication and strong support systems have helped you navigate this. Katie Muncaster, CPO
