Pros

Some great people and great leaders. Lots of EV charging. Lots of employee affinity group events.

Cons

The Employee First Value is an outright lie. Profits are first followed by the Ego of your direct supervisor. The ‘anonymous’ surveys are not ‘anonymous’ and will lead to your firing for honest feedback which impacts your direct supervisors promotion path.

Pros

Workday has good benefits and many offices you can work from.

Cons

Workday culture is more cut throat as each day passes. Due to its size its ability to deliver anything meaningful to customers takes at least a year and typically much longer. This contributes to the ever present tension through out the business. Hiring wonderfully smart people becomes hard to manage when making an impact feels far away for most if not all roles, leading to finger pointing, and silo’d initiatives that rarely take hold. Workday also tracks badge scans in order to ensure 50% in office, as well as how much time you spend in meetings, and how much “focus” time you have by tracking your email and Slack activity. I see very few examples of people managing a work life balance in Product, however, there are many parents who work here, leading me to believe it may exist elsewhere in the company.
