Pros

Beautiful campus in Pleasanton. Lots of smart people.

Cons

In the midst of a culture change. Founder has departed, co-CEOs leaving or planning to. Replacements in C-suite are from acquisitions and companies like Oracle with similar product but very different culture. Of recent layoffs where people were escorted out of the building or had system access cut within minutes, people said "we would never have done that before."

No distinguishable pros from other large companies. Good salaries, generally? If you love corporate politics and popularity contests, this is the place for you.

Cons

100% rat race, Workday used to offer this difference in marketpalce. The "anti-oracle". Now, its just oracle. General lack of integrity runs throughout. Most people are out for themselves and the team/group environment that used to prevail has been squashed

Collaborative approach to product design/development. People are genuinely supportive of each other.

Cons

When Dave Duffield was CEO the guidance was very clear - nothing is more important than customer satisfaction (existing customers). Today the focus is on acquisition of new customers and existing customers take a back seat. Way too many levels of management who are not adding any value at all.
