Bad working Atmosphere

Pros

Job allows you to grow based on nationality, to those who are from the nation. Friendly atmosphere based on same race policy. Even school education is enough to get into globoforce, dublin through a proper recommendation and word by some people working at management level. so even a person with retail experience can get into the organisation as team leader or manager. School passed or under graduates well dressed, well perfumed women with ability to "just talk" and no work can go ahead in the organistion

Cons

Unfavourable work atmosphere depending on the person you work under. Favoritism is prevalent, so even if u are good at your job, you will head nowhere, Autocratic way of management, in short as an employee you cannot be part of process improvement or cud imagine to put forward a better way of working things out. salary based on favourtisim.

Workhuman Response

We are truly disappointed to read these comments. We have always placed a great deal of pride in our commitment to a workplace of fairness, equity and opportunity. While we certainly appreciate your viewpoint and welcome all feedback, we’d encourage you to consider a few points about our office and culture. We do not claim to be perfect and to that end it’s very likely there’s more we could do to share these statistics internally as well: Our Dublin office is home to employees from 22 nations, speaking 19 languages, and offers a culture rich with diversity – of humans, as well as thought. This past year, we launched our new “Respect for All,” giving all employees a way to recognize the rich diversity of backgrounds, experiences, viewpoints, and ideas that we collectively bring to the company every day. This past year we received a record-setting number of ideas from employees as part of the GloboInnovation, our internal innovation program open to all. In the past year, 17% of our employees have been promoted or transferred internally to new, challenging roles, across a variety of levels and departments. When combined with similar changes in a 24 month period, more than 30% of our employees have progressed in their career! We encourage any employee who has concerns to speak with any member of the HR team or their manager. We are dedicated to doing great things together as a company and welcome continuing the conversation to ensure that all employees feel respected and valued. Working Human Doesn't Exist

Pros

The people that work here a genuinely good people. Many, care about other people beyond the work place. Free food that masks the lack of annual raises and promotions. New office space is nice but is open concept.

Cons

Favoritism runs deep. Certain people barely show up for work while others are basically driving the business alone. The social recognition platform is also perpetuated by favoritism. The loudest person in the room gets the award, not the hardest worker. Globoforce thinks it's a big fish in a big pond when it's a tiny fish in a puddle. Hypocrisy and sexism is rampant. There are 0 women in the C-suite. Limited promotions going to women and very few minorities in the company. Managers are not equipped, trained, or experienced enough to be managers. People are not willing to work collaboratively, many are trained to not share information with others. Some managers manage a large amount of staff remotely; they don't see the big picture of what exactly is going on in the office. The company constantly is reactive instead of proactive - upper management and executive leaders never say no to any prospective customer or active client at the expense of everyone else in the organization.
