Hello, Thank you for your thoughts here, both your kind words about offering personal time and also guidance on opportunities for improvement. We agree that offering personal time, and the opportunity for balance, is a strength. Though we've seen many changes this year relating to the DEA's proposed controlled substance rules that impact our core business, it's important to share with employees how we're addressing these changes. I'm sorry it feels that we could have done this better, and I'll take your feedback to heart as we continue to communicate to the organization about the changes driven by the DEA's rules. Warmly, Sara Irvine VP, People & Culture

Pros

The team of staff is incredible. The Workit community of employees is truly an exceptional, collaborative, welcoming, and kind environment. From my very first day people were willing and able to help me with any questions I had and went above and beyond to assist me in whatever I needed. Expectations are clearly outlined and work-life balance is respected. The company also offers good resources for support like coaching services and other support.

Cons

The company has a tendency to over-extend itself and lacks a clear vision for the future. The market in which they operate is hectic, but the company (from my personal perspective) overextends itself to catch the proverbial lightning in a bottle, rather than being cautious with its expansion. When I came into Workit (August 2022) they had just finished a round of downsizing and layoffs in May of that same year. Now, in 2023, they are downsizing and cutting a huge portion of their staff due to market shifts. I understand that companies need to respond, but Workit has a consistent problem of trying to grab more than what it is ready to take on and paying for it by letting go of some of its staff. Morale is shaky within the company and if long-term job security is what you're looking for I would not recommend Workit Health.
