      Pros

      several office locations close to home; wonderful coworkers; fitness centers in main offices; newly organized employee club offers opportunities for volunteering in the community, networking, and promotes work-life balance. Flex schedules and 4/10 work week. Great pay and benefits!

      Cons

      its who you know, not what you know. Some mgrs treat their employees like crap, unless they are accepted in the "clique". worst HR dept I have ever dealt with. nothing is confidential, and if you escalate situations to them, they do nothing. The company has lost many smart, wonderful employees due to being harassed by senior mgmt. it's sad.

      Pros

      WorleyParsons is a world class engineering firm based in Sydney, Australia. It is truly a global company with offices located around the world. The ethnic makeup of the employee staff represents that diversity, which makes for an intriguing group of fellow employees to work with. WorleyParsons works hard to retain it's employees, not staffing up and then de-staffing as some other firms do. I can vouch for this through personal experience, and it was one of the top factors in my seeking employment there. WorleyParsons typically pays a higher salary than other competing firms. You can expect to receive one to two raises a year working for this firm!!

      Cons

      WorleyParsons hires highly talented people and then expects top results from their people with a minimum input of training in the ways to conduct business for the firm. My observation is that WorleyParsons should spend a lot more time in team building and establishing a singular shared culture and working environment.

      - Friendly working environment (that's why 3-star in 'Culture & Values') - Global presence means diversity of projects from different parts of the world - Truly multicultural multinational company

      Cons

      - No vision, simply follow the clients (that's why 3-Star in 'Culture & Values') - Hiring & firing completely depend on billable hours, lack of long term planning - Too timid to take on EPC contracts (no risk = no profit, it leaves billable hours as the only way to generate profits) - Lack of its own process technology to compete with top tier engineering companies in US, Europe & Japan
