Pros

-The company itself with the directors who run it is forward thinking, successful and incredibly innovative and inspiring. -Everyday I came into work inspired by the company and how far the owner has came in this journey of taking over the world of kitchens -Fantastic training at head office, technology and design systems -Working with different people everyday, being a part of their journey and designing their kitchens and bedrooms -If you’re driven and perform well, there’s a great opportunity to earn some serious money -Amazing showrooms you truly take pride working in

Cons

-Turnover of staff at the local showroom is extremely high! Under 4 years nearly 60 people have come and gone due to poor treatment, mismanagement and lack of support from local showroom -Local showroom management is toxic, there’s a culture of favouritism, fear and micromanagement -Web leads are based off “performance” but in practice by the local showroom it’s based on who’s liked which is inconsistent and very demotivating. -Mandatory daily briefing sessions which work out to 1hr 45m which are never paid back in time off (despite contractual terms) and are often negative, aggressive, and include inappropriate language. -Management often swear and belittle staff creating a hostile work environment -Can’t speak for all HR advisors but again, local showroom HR advisor seem very aligned with management, having phone calls on his personal phone before the shift starts, makes it difficulty to raise issues safely and securely -You will also spend a lot of time at work, say goodbye to your weekends, your bank holidays and any holidays you plan to go on longer than 2 weeks.

Absolutely vile

Pros

The commission, as long as you’re a forceful seller.

Cons

Not allowed to look like a real human, told you will have to cover ANY visible tattoos should higher management be attending. Was asked to get the tea and coffees every morning due to being female, despite several male designers being there before me. Also Will put you on a PIP for not being a forceful enough seller and then not follow it correctly, rendering it void. So they will put you on another one, which you’ll fail again because they change it part way through. Then they will sack you despite you being a fantastic designer and having proven customer relations. Absolutely worse place ever. Destroyed my confidence and took away my individual identity.
