Pros

It's an exciting time to work for Wren, with new Showrooms opening throughout the UK this year. Not many companies can boast of being in a position to open so many expensive new premises, and this is due to the fantastic direction the company is heading in. Opportunities for progression are on the horizon, and working here certainly makes me want to be a big part of the future of the company. Being a UK company that manufactures all it own products in the UK speaks volumes about the ethos here. We believe in our proposition and the execution of our vision is tireless. Not only will the company be opening new Showrooms in 2015, but existing Showrooms will be re-vamped to accomodate the great new Bathroom and Furniture ranges. Wren really will be a one stop shop for the UK home improvement enthusiasts, under one roof you will be able to find everything you need to make your dream home. For me that is a massive benefit of working for such an exciting company, who want to move forward and build a strong brand that people know and can trust. The company have invested heavily in the product development, the 3D planning software we use and the overall structure of how we run as a company. Constantly seeking feedback on how we can improve from the people who can implement the changes on a daily basis, the employees. Whether it be our delivery drivers, our factory managers or the designer in store, we are all encouraged to have a say in what matters. I have worked for many established companies in the past, who make decisions on their operations based on what "research" tells them. At Wren your opinion and ideas are valued, and where possible implemented. Ultimately working here makes you feel part of "something bigger", which sounds cliché, but when you see all of our factories here in the UK and you go and visit a customer after their new kitchen has been fitted it really fills you with pride.

Cons

I can honestly say that I can't think of anything negative, of course there are bad days as with any job. The only thing holding us back is the number of people that don't know about us and what we can offer, however the reason for this is to make sure our expansion is steady and manageable and we can maintain high standards.

Pros

I have been worked at Wren for three and half years, and I absolutely love it! The people here are very friendly and professional, and are happy to help if I have any queries regarding anything at all. When I first started working here I worked in the quality control team. I met some fantastic people who I still work with now even though I have progressed to another role I am now I'm doing my dream job of being a Health and Safety officer

Cons

it is a very busy working environment and not everyone is cut out to keep up with this. But the busier we are the better it is for all of us

Pros

I am proud to work for Wren because we focus on manufacturing high quality fully assembled kitchens in the UK and also delivering exceptional service. When I first started at Wren I had no knowledge of the Kitchen industry which was quite daunting. As part of the Wren Induction I spent a few weeks shadowing colleagues before being invited to a weeks intensive training course. It was based in Howden near the factories so we visited them to gain an understanding of the manufacturing processes involved with making our kitchens, this was very useful. The weeks course was very informative but at the same time really enjoyable. The hotel I stayed at was amazing and all travel and meals were paid for. I enjoy waking up in the morning to come to work because I am part of a great team in the Southampton Store. The team works together to hit weekly sales targets and ensure we deliver excellent customer service which is regulated by customer feedback from our email survey that is sent to them. We finished as a store number one in the company for customer service which I am proud to be a part of. You are your own boss so being organised and planning is key to a successful career at Wren. You determine whether you are going to be a top performing designer or an average one. The financial rewards are amazing, you can earn really good money which is based around your volume of sales and a basic salary. I get a real buzz when I sign of a Wren installed kitchen and the customer is ecstatic with the finished product and the service they have had along the way. I then take photos of the kitchen to show to other potential customers, which really helps them imagine what there kitchen may look like.

Cons

You work weekends and at least one late night a week as you have to be available for your customers. On the flip side this is when you make your money and their is plenty of holiday to take!
