Pros

As an employee of an engineering department, can say that it is really great to work here. Processes are lightning fast comparing to oher companies I've worked for - you can make a feature/bugfix today, and tomorrow it can be on Production. There are brilliant and smart people around, your opinion matters, and your ideas are welcomed - even if you are just a developer, you can drive initiatives helping to make the product better (and get promoted, because such things are always noticed by management). And yeah - Wrike, the product, that company sells to customers, is also used internally as a main collaboration tool, so everyone interested in creating a top-quality product. Speaking of benefits, I can suppose that they are common for Czech IT companies (I am working for Wrike Prague) - the company is paying for your lunches, provide Benefit Plus card, free public transportation inside Prague and corporate mobile plan if you need it, but Wrike also offers a decent relocation package if you are moving here from abroad.

Cons

Hard to find any cons. Maybe, having a little bit more transparency of what is going on in other departments would be useful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. It's great to understand your passion for the Wrike company and product itself. We want to give Wrikers the best quality benefits as possible and glad you are enjoying these, however we are always trying to improve and update these. While we always try to be as transparent as possible between cross functional departments, ie Friday International meetings and various Slack channels etc, we acknowledge and take this feedback onboard. Thanks again for your great review! People Ops Team

Pros

I decided to join Wrike for its great vision and team. The company is set on a aggressive growth path as work management product for smb's as well as enterprise customers. This market segment has a huge potential, and it is exciting to be part of that journey. Team is very supportive and passionate about the quality of features shipped to production, plenty of people happy to challenge the status quo and raise the bar yet again.

Cons

Prague dev hub is fairly new and there is fair amount of things to be ironed out from a process side as well. It is great challenge to tackle - to make R&D teams truly international and build strong foundation in heart of Europe.

Thank you for taking the time to review Wrike! It's something we encourage, as we are always keen to improve and take on new feedback from our employees. It's truly rewarding to read about the team support you receive at Wrike. As our Prague office is still relatively new, we are still in the process of growing and expanding our team, both in number of people and in terms of diversity. We want the Wrike culture to be alive in every office and we are on our way to that point for Prague too! However, if you have any recommendations and/ or suggestions, please reach out to your local HR team who will be more than happy to take that on. People Ops Team

Pros

The company has some of THE smartest minds I have ever seen in my ten years in the Silicon valley. The marketing and sales infrastructure for the advertising and inbound marketing is light years ahead of the industry. The teams use the most sophisticated approaches to analytics, operations, scoring, and attribution. I have learnt more in my time here than my entire career and I have worked at some top brands in the valley that do a lot of talking but Wrike has been walking the talk for years now. The enterprise business has been a huge success as well and is growing very quickly. The team is quickly iterating and experimenting to optimize. The company is truly an innovator. Was the first mover in several areas. Was one of the first companies to use an illustration-based design. Launched products for marketing teams and PS before anyone else in the industry. The list goes on. The leadership team is very smart , pragmatic, driven and motivated. There is no room for politics. The company mission is a huge appeal. Who doesn't want to work for a brand that has applicability to a mass segment (of any working professional), is defining the future of how work will be done, and can make people's work lives more meaningful? A product you yourself can use every day. The team (marketing especially) stepped up and changed gears quickly to respond to COVID and has adopted a truly agile workflow to stay competitive. We are cutting edge in many ways. The product is leaps ahead of competition. Love working here.

Cons

The company has seen tremendous success with a certain set of strategies and motions and is now in the process of disrupting itself to grow into the next phase of growth. Disruption means change and change is never a comforting thing. This has led to some pockets of frustration with not being able to hold onto the "old ways." The company has also in the recent past started to build a more performance and accountability based culture which motivates high performing individuals and encourages low performers to improve. This has also caused some discomfort with some sections that have not been performing well. A combination of disruption, changes, and a focus on performance may have caused some dissatisfaction that you can see in some Glassdoor reviews. But the leadership team is doing the right thing (versus the popular thing) to create long term, sustainable employee satisfaction - which is creating an incentive system that rewards people that are high performers, and offering a development path for others. While this is expected to cause some short term angst, this is ABSOLUTELY the right thing to do. If you are a candidate evaluating your next career move, please have your conversations with the team and then make your decision. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to do career defining work, You can actually be part of an incredible growth story and put your name on it.
