Pros

-free lunches, lots of snacks

Cons

There are so many negative things I could say about Wrike that I would be here for hours typing it up. Sales team is being treated horribly. With the difficult times many are facing due to Covid-19 people are already stressed and Wrike leaders are continuously threatening our job security if we are not hitting the stupid daily metrics they have set and keep raising/adding to. Micromanagement has gone to levels that it should never go to. Every sales rep is extremely burnt out with thier demands. Going through something like COVID-19 tells you alot about the company and the people you work for. This is not a time to take advantage of your customer and your employees. Sales team is being way too overworked for the amount of useless work management is making them do not to mention how little we get paid. I'm assuming you can tell a certain theme going on at Wrike just by reading some other recent reviews.

We are sorry to hear your recent work experience has been challenging. Like many companies we are doing our best to navigate the “new normal” that COVID-19 has brought us. We want to start by acknowledging the hard work all of our Wrikers are doing, and thank you for your commitment to our mission. Our executive team is meeting daily to discuss how COVID is changing work as we know it, and our sales leadership team specifically is regularly reviewing data to better understand how the pandemic is affecting variables such as demand, workload, and performance. While this remains a “learn as you go” environment for most businesses today, we are keeping an eye on these factors to ensure that we respond in a way that is fair for our team members and that takes into account factors that may be outside of our control. To start, we have already met with our sales teams to inform them of a shift from daily to weekly KPI tracking to help prevent burnout. We also have asked all of our sales team members to take a “mental health day” each month to unplug and focus on their personal wellness. These days do not count towards PTO and are highly encouraged. We are listening, and we are always open to adapting to better support our Wrikers and our customers. Early on, Wrike quickly realized we have a real ability to support our clients around the world during this crisis. Wrike quickly shifted its focus to how we can help companies worldwide transition to remote work, including supporting PS and Marketing departments to achieve operational efficiency in this new economy. We truly believe that the combined efforts of our entire Wrikeforce can support companies in need of support as they transition to a virtual work environment. This can be challenging work, which is why we continue to remind - and encourage - employees to use our unlimited PTO policy so they can take time for rest and recovery when it is needed most. I would also encourage you to book time with our HR partners, VP of sales, or CRO who are all conducting office hours and offering individual one-on-one check-ins with our team to solicit feedback, answer any questions from the team, and provide support. You can also feel free to reach out to us at hr-us@team.wrike.com. We are always available to help!

Pros

- People are friendly and helpful.

Cons

- Employees aren't paid enough. - Leadership doesn't know what they're doing. - Culture seems forced. - Can't seem to practice what they preach (zero transparency, no efficiency, poor collaboration, etc.) If you're interviewing to work here, do yourself a favor and reach out to past Wrike employees on LinkedIn. They'll share with you their honest experience.

Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. At Wrike, we are committed to providing our employees with competitive compensation and a positive work environment. While we feel we do this well as a company, we also adhere to the internal value of "Growth" and continuous improvement. In the last two months since you posted this review, we have already taken steps to enhance the employee experience for Wrikers. We have introduced career progression plans for several areas of the company and are beginning to scale this process across the rest of the organization. We have also made strides in increasing transparency and engagement between leadership and employees, by adding new channels for employee feedback and focusing company communications to be more centered around the things that matter most to Wrikers. We agree that people are our most valuable asset and are dedicated to keeping them happy. Your feedback is appreciated, and helps us in accomplishing this objective.

Pros

-Free food: free lunch, drinks, snacks, coffee. This part is great. There is no denying that. -Benefits: they offer full health insurance, dental, retirement, unlimited vacation (which sales doesn't always get to take) -kickoff: they take the entire company on a trip yearly (last 2 years to Mexico) all expenses paid

Cons

-Culture: the mountain view office environment is toxic. Everyone is complaining 24/7 about the things that are wrong: dwindling inbound lead flow with no outbound model built, awful (or nonexistent) management, lack of communication. It seems like San Diego is the future of Wrike and the mountain view office is struggling because of it. -office space: Wrike has very clearly outgrown their current office space. They've been promising a new office for almost a year now with no action. Tuenover: turnover is extremely high these days. No one wants to come into the office because it's so negative so people are leaving. Wrike has lost 3 members of the management team and about 4-5 individual contributors in the last 2 months. It doesn't seem like this problem is getting better. -Equality: some teams have the autonomy to do whatever they want and others are on a tight leash. Because management is lacking and there's no set of standards, it creates tension between the "haves" and "have nots" -Compensation: compensation is significantly under market value. They try to make it up with benefits and fancy beer but they lose really qualified candidates to low comp plans. This creates angst among fellow employees. -Management: there doesn't seem to be a clear picture of where the company is going. Project management is hard to make fun, but if the employees lose passion the product will continue to sink. It also takes the engineers forever to build anything and new releases are always buggy. It leaves salespeople to look like they made empty promises and they can't build strong relationships with clients. -Lack of fun events: sometimes low pay can be evened out with fun events but these are far and few between now. Honestly, it's a really tough environment to work in.
