Pros
I like working with my clients and learning about resources, young adult clients make it fun
Cons
There is training but it is not helpful they throw out a bunch of information to you and have you “shadow” but they did not fully explain what you would be doing. Clients can be entitled and want you to do the work for them. The requirements are extremely overwhelming and not fully explained properly. They want you to spend 60% of your time with clients and the other on documentation which is not helpful you need more time for documentation. My supervisor is supportive but it is difficult to communicate with her. Also I have had other case managers give me tips to do this job and use a website to help with documentation and stated their supervisor advised them to use it when completing documentation but my supervisor got mad and stated it is a hippa violation, I feel like your are being set up for failure. Idk it’s not a job for everyone you learn about yourself of what you can and can’t handle
