Pros

X-Mode is a startup company focused in the location data industry. If you’re early into your career, working here gives you a great opportunity to wear multiple hats and improve your skillset and go above and beyond. Management takes a mostly hands off approach (to some degree depending on your department) which I love. You really can contribute and improve the company too. Your actions have real effects on the company and it’s extremely rewarding. People here are the kindest people you can meet, and they’ll make you feel extremely comfortable opening up and communicating any issue has never has felt scary to me, like it has at other companies. It’s worth looking into!

Cons

Company faces some growing pain, so you may get stuck doing a few things you might not like, mileage will vary.

Pros

Transparent and open work environment. Lots of face-time with Chiefs, Directors, and Managers in the company. Higher-ups seem genuinely interested in everyone's ideas, no matter what your position is. Lots of open brainstorming within the company, which I like. There's also snacks and catering twice a week, so that's always a plus.

Cons

There are some nights you have to work late, typically during busy cycles.

Pros

I was able to work 100% remotely It was a part time position and the perfect opportunity for a busy college student.

Cons

Working 100% remote led to limited communication options. My supervisor was not good at staying on schedule and communicating when necessary. There was a lack of organization
