      Pros

      Great place to start a career. Engineers can have their voices heard, good ideas are not ignored. They tend to promote from within.

      Cons

      Salary and benefits are not competitive. CEO does not seem motivated to have a successful company and answers to no one except his own bank account. Privacy seems to be more important. He has no problem steering the company in tangential directions on a whim, even when all managers advise against it. He will not use latest technology or modern techniques.

      Cons

      No clear direction or standards to make decisions. Mid-level mgt. lacks real world experience with best practice. Too ingrown and and pervasive "not invented here" theme.
