Pros

This environment is laid back and some of these people are genuinely great. You can see how hard some people work and it's refreshing to get a taste of that every now and then to remind you that it's not just you that's putting in more effort than you should. There is always leniency and, when you do your job the way you should, you do get to see some of that in play even if it isn't always when you need it. There are rewards given even if you have to beg for it and for the right people, there is hope that it will pay off.

Cons

There is leniency and promotions given to those who do not always deserve it and the line is as dotted and spacey as it can be and still be considered a "line." There is little to no recognition for achievements and consistent successes in shifts outside of Rep positions during the day and there are not many times one feels appreciated by anyone other than the people you share your discomfort with. There are SO MANY extraordinarily unfair events that take place for no reason deemed appropriate and for those that are, well...they get ignored or earn the reply and request [or demand] to "tough it out" because that's what you do, right? You tough it out...because we are XPO and because that's a nice way to say "no"? Promotion opportunities are scarce and it is not difficult to understand and accept that IF that is exactly what employees are told, but that is never the case. You are given these fantasies that you will be able to move up in this company and that sales is your happiness in the Land of Stress and it pays. It PAYS. Even day shift support staff is compensated for the fact that they work day shift and for anyone else, it's an SOL kind of situation. "We're trying" - "We're working on it" - "We can't always get everything we put in a request for." You can be the best and get more criticism than the worst simply because you know you're the best and you can try to use that. Lord help you if you know what you're doing in a support position because they will NEVER let you leave. You're too good. They need you. And yet, you still have to beg for a rewarding outcome for all you do and even then, you won't see one for months if at all. Still, We Are XPO and I guess you have to wait and watch your turn get handed to someone with half of your capabilities.

Lack of training, massive hours.

Pros

Some really great co-workers who do their jobs. Pay is decent if you can actually just work scheduled hours.

Cons

Working 60 hours a week as salary, no real leadership. Training is a joke. Have to call around to actually learn how to do things. Everyone is held to different standards. Sexual harassment and being called names by supervisors.
