- Dynamic work environment with lots of opportunities and interesting projects; management is engaged and responsive; innovation is encouraged and rewarded. - Really smart, hard-working colleagues; open, collaborative culture; ample opportunities for advancement. - Strong focus on safety; good momentum on DEI initiatives; lots of options for training/professional development. - Good overall compensation package.

Cons

Somewhat inflexible on work arrangements and limited PTO. Good accommodations were made for COVID, but generally this is not a leave-early or work-from-home kind of place. The upside is that the days fly by - there is plenty of work to do!

Cons

Work outside in non temperature control dock means negative temperature in winter, high 90s or 100s in summer. This particular job means having to wait for operations to get the ball rolling before I can inspect freight, so reliant on other people doing their jobs in a timely manner. While the family feel I mentioned in the pros is good, it’s not as strong as it felt during the CCX/Conway days.
