* The impact that XPRIZE has on humanity is astronomical. It is amazing to think about the work being done here and how my day-to-day job is helping to truly save the world * People here are really passionate about the work being done, and we work with industry-leading experts from all over the world, so you learn and absorb a lot of information just by being here * Remote work and great work-life balance * Quarterly In-Person all hands meetings, when we get to spend time with all XPRIZE employees in person * Fantastic benefits & I would argue I'm really well compensated, especially considering we're a nonprofit

Cons

I really can't think of anything... I love the work we do, the people I work with, and appreciate how transparent and available the executive leadership team is. Keep up the great work!

Some colleagues are genuinely passionate and hardworking. Fully remote work flexibility.

Cons

Lack of Clear Communication: Expectations around scheduling, availability, and work hours were changed after onboarding, with little regard for prior agreements.Poor Work-Life Balance: Employees are expected to be available beyond scheduled hours without proper structure or support.Dismissive HR Practices: Concerns about policies and work expectations were met with resistance rather than productive dialogue.Abrupt Decision-Making: My experience showed that employment decisions can be sudden, with little to no prior discussion or feedback.
