Coworkers are really really supportive, but there needs to be an improvement in the management. They pride themselves in being the leader in SPM, but recently, the kind of treatment we consultants got was horrible. It was so bad that so many people (many of them were seniors, and leads) left. There's a lot of micro management, you need to give minute by minute details about how you spend 40 hours a week. Go to linkedin, find consultants who used to work here, ask them about their experience - they will give you a good picture. There's a reason for such a huge turnover recently. The thing is they make you feel like you owe them. People have been asking for pay raises but they hardly give anything. For some, it was not even that - even though they were promised for one, continuously - for multiple years. And when you find a job elsewhere with much higher pay, they threaten you with legal notices (which by the way doesn't stand in court of law). We are not even allowed to say goodbye to our coworkers on our last day. The HR specifically tells you not to communicate to the mass that you're leaving. Especially during covid, this kind of treatment is not right. On paper they talk so much about mental health, mental peace, etc. But in practice, when it's time for you to leave the company for a similar role elsewhere, they send you a legal notice (they don't send the legal threat to everyone who leaves for a similar job, but only select ones. How do they decide which ones to send legal threats to? Only Xactly can answer that question). They should know for people living alone (whose families are back home dealing with consequences of covid), it takes an unbelievable amount of mental toll. Even the thought of a legal threat is scary to the people living alone with no one to rely on (except the lawyers of course). Nobody leaves just for the heck of it. Because we get better opportunities elsewhere, and after constantly asking for pay raises (and constantly being promised one), if they don't comply - people are going to leave. As good as the hiring experience is, the exit experience is equally that bad. I sincerely hope they improve upon this aspect. But one good thing is how comfortable you're made to feel by most of the coworkers. They go above and beyond and help you in every way possible. It's the upper management that needs to improve
