There is straight up no opportunity for advancement in the position of supply chain analyst or other full time positions in accounts payable, and they are aware of it. I worked with a number of individuals who had been there for numerous years, and none had ever received any words on potential advancement opportunities. You will be stuck. There was no sense of direction, my manager didn’t even know what my job consisted of. The supply chain in general is a disaster, which I was informed of going into it, but seeing how lost my they were in person was appalling. For a company that size, which is basically a monopoly in areas where it serves, it’s as poorly run as it can be.
