Ethics and Values of management are not cost efficient. The company supports employees wasting their time, coming in from working out in the field only to sit till it's time to leave at the end of the day. They do not encourage hard work, therefore many employees take full advantage. There is much wasted money that the customers have to pay for with rate increases.

Nuclear is full of just plain awful managers. Xcel is recognized by the industry as being among the very worst performers nuclear operating companies. How bad the work environment is is recognized by the industry and is supposed to be improved... but management isn't really on board. Management is the problem and their desire to address issues is simply lip service.
